The 2026 Crawford County Dairy Royalty and Crawford County Fairest of the Fair were crowned at the United Methodist Church Hall in Eastman.
The results are: Kristin Nolan was named Crawford County Dairy Princess; Layla Brandes was named Crawford County Little Miss Squirt; Brooke Mitchell was crowned Crawford County Fairest of the Fair; and Millie Dahlberg was named Crawford County Junior Fairest of the Fair.
BROOKE MITCHELL is the daughter of Bart and Amy Mitchell. She lives on her family’s beef and crop farm in Boscobel, WI. She graduated from Wauzeka- Steuben high school in 2025 where she was active in clubs such as NHS, FFA, FBLA, Student Council, and Forensics.
She also enjoyed a year of acting at the Opera House in Elkader, Iowa. Brooke now attends the University of Wisconsin Madison majoring in Life Sciences Communication with a minor in Agricultural Business. At UW-Madison, Brooke participates in a variety of clubs.
Adam Hess has been involved in radio broadcasting since 1990, with many of those years spent on the air at WRCO FM in Richland Center. Currently, Adam hosts the Weekend Wake-up and Prime Mover Saturdays on WRCO FM, jumps in and helps out with news duties, handles Social Media duties for WRCO and WRCE, and is the Director of Technology at a Southwest Wisconsin School District.
